Personal Statement:

Since my family did not attend church, I knew very little about Jesus. While in High School several friends began to witness to me and invited me to their church. This began my process of seeking that ended with me accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. The changes that began in my life on that day have continued to witness to the grace of God and the power of the Gospel.

While attending Indiana University Southeast, I realized that God was calling me into ministry. In response, I enrolled at Boyce College and pursued a theological education. While in Seminary, my current church called me to serve as Children’s Minister. My role started to change when our church was without a pastor in 2006. The more I taught the whole congregation, the more God clarified his direction for me. Once our new pastor came, he encouraged me to use my preaching and leadership gifts. The church voted to expand my position to Associate Pastor in October 2007.

We are a busy family, with four young children. I enjoy coaching youth sports including soccer, basketball, and t-ball. For exercise, I like to jog, walk my dog or play Wii Fit with the kids. I am good with computers, have founded several websites and keep up with friends on Facebook. Most people enjoy my sense of humor. I am avid coffee drinker, but also carry breath mints!
